An example of how Domestic Helpers are
abused:
Nirmala Bonat (pictured above) was a
19 year old Indonesian Domestic Helper working abroad in
Malaysia at the time of her abuse. Nirmala's female
employer abused her for over five months, before she was
spotted wearing bloodstained clothes in her apartment
building and taken to the authorities.
